Thirst By Christopher Pike

     let me start off with Thirst by Christopher Pike is my all time favorite book series or trilogy. Even though the main character is a girl and the author is a guy, he takes on a whole 5,000 years of being a girl and makes it so real for the reader. I devoured the books. Each book is about 500-700 pages.
     The books are about a 5,000 year old vampire girl named Alisa Perne or Sita (she goes by many names) who looks like a hot 18-20 year old. She gets hunted down by everything imaginable and almost dies a couple of times. She mourns for her lost loves, lives, and daughters. She builds lives and tears some down. She is deadly and does not hold sex as a sacred thing. The book has, blood, gore, romance, fear, love, and beauty. She believes she is the last vampire but at times yearns to be human. She loves her "god" Krishna and thinks of him, she met him in person, he killed her world and granted it.
     I strongly recommend this book for anyone teenage and up. I love it and hope you do too. And if you have read it I would love read your comments about the book. Hope you enjoy!!

      The author of this amazing series is Heather Brewer! It is about a half vampire who struggles with living in a world of humans, Until he finds that he's not the only vampire, and that the rest of the vampires want to kill him. They come close many times. Both of his parents are dead.. or so he thought for his entire life. He has more power than he or anyone knows, for he is the Pravus! want more.. read it!!

The Uglies Series

     The Uglies series is about a world where only a few civilizations/cities live. These cities are extremely high tech, and have mainly two rules. #1. All uglies must have the pretty surgery when they turn 16. And #2 never run away to the Smokes. But when 15 year old Tally Youngblood gets a new friend she ends up being blackmailed, forced to run away, fall in love, and save the world. But when the people who turned her into who she is, can't control her, she starts a war, ends a war, and begins a new age. Betrayal, love, danger, action, and new world.

The Ember Series By Jeanne DuPrau

The Ember series is a generally popular series especially if you have seen the first movie "The City Of Ember" on television. It's about an entire town under ground, who are losing there power, food, and medicine and are "Dieing out". But when Lina a 12 year old girl finds a mysterious box and a paper that her sister Poppy has half eaten, she and her friend Doon piece together the missing clues go out to find there way to a new world, where they discover they have lived under ground, what tree's and rain are, and first set eyes on the thing we call a sun!
